24-year-old Filippo Zoi is a talented comic strip artist and illustrator.
He has memorised all the doors and gates he has seen, photographed and touched, from his earliest childhood up to the present day, and draws comfort from regularly listing them out to his parents.
The Thousand Gates of Filippo (I Mille Cancelli Di Filippo) is an intimate and absorbing account of talent, potential, nurturing, and everyday family life.
