What would you trust if your life was on the line?

The latest figures from the American Medical Association state that up to 90% of cancer patients look for treatment outside of their healthcare system, a decision that doubles the risk of death.

In The Cancer Conflict, we follow the journeys of Grant and Surinder as they navigate the range of treatment options available following their cancer diagnosis.

When taking treatment into their own hands, how will Grant who's chosen evidence-based treatment and Surinder, who's chosen a completely alternative route, make informed choices in an online world of misinformation? And what are the consequences of turning away from experts?

This event will take place at Curzon Soho, Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W1D 5DY (nearest Tube stations Leicester Square, Charing Cross)

We were honoured to host the online World Premiere of The Cancer Conflict at the 2021 Global Health Film Festival and are delighted to premiere this important film in-person!

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion that will include the film director Thomas Meadmore, Consultant Clinical Oncologist Dr Robert Glynne-Jones, and Fred McCormack, a cancer patient.

Your ticket also includes a drinks reception, to mark our return to in-person events since the start of the Covid pandemic.
