Two short Summer internships available at Global Health Film | Global Health Film

Do you have excellent research skills, the ability to work alone and self-organise, as well as a strong interest in global health education and marketing? We are offering two short internships over August and September 2019:

(i) Global Health Film 'Friends of' / membership scheme

(7-8 days over August-September 2019)

Primary purpose
To assess potential for GHF to set up a ‘Friends of’ or membership scheme in Autumn 2019

Key tasks

Undertake detailed desk research of current schemes running in similar organisations and in other industries nationally and internationally
Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative survey of GHF current and prospective audiences re potential for a GHF ‘friends of’ or membership scheme
Compile and present report of findings, recommendations and proposal for next steps, including budget and timeline
 
Ideal profile

Excellent research skills with meticulous attention to detail
Good communicator
Ability to work alone and self-organise
Strong interest in arts, education, global health and marketing – and the links between all four disciplines

(ii) Global Health Film Festival Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation 

(5-6 days over August-September 2019)

Primary purpose
To assess potential for CPD accreditation of the Global Health Film Festival 

Key tasks
Undertake desk research of (i) the accreditation industry and (ii) the CPD requirements and processes for the main regulatory and professional membership bodies of potential relevance to Global Health Film (Royal Colleges, Royal Societies etc) 
Compile and present report of findings, recommendations and proposal for next steps, including budget and timeline

Ideal profile
Excellent research skills with meticulous attention to detail
Good understanding of global health landscape
Good communicator
Ability to work alone and self-organise
Strong interest in global health education and in film as a teaching medium 

Internships are unpaid; successful applicants will be offered a full two-day pass to this year's Global Health Film Festival.
